What Is A Millionaire For Jesus?

Now, let's get started by answering the question, "What is a Millionaire For Jesus?"

Let me tell you in three quick points what being a Millionaire For Jesus is about:

1. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" -- Matthew 5:16
   
   Without a doubt, your light can shine no matter what your financial situation is.  At the same time, if as this scripture tells us, it is by your good works that you glorify your Father which is in heaven, how much more brightly can your light shine if you have the financial means to be involved in even more good works?

2. "That ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work." -- 2 Corinthians 9:8
   
   Can you see yourself in a position where you never again have to worry about money - so that you have both the financial ability and time freedom to abound to every good work?

3. "Let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth."  -- Ephesians 4:28
   
   Would you agree that there are lots of ways you can labor and work with your hands and still not have enough to give to those who are in need?  Being a Millionaire for Jesus means that you know how to do things in the "good" way so that you always have more than you and your family need so that you can help those who are in need.

So, in a nutshell...

Does any of this at all sound like something you might be interested in?

Do you feel even a little resonance and harmony with what you're reading?

Has this caused you to picture yourself with the money and time to be a significant contributor in God's Kingdom?

If you will, pause for just a moment and become fully aware of how you answered the three previous questions.

On my end, I readily acknowledge that being a Millionaire for Jesus isn't for everyone.

It may not even be for you.  I'm not sure.

More About What A Millionaire For Jesus Is...

Now, I need to tell you what being a Millionaire For Jesus is about from a different angle.  And, this is going sound a bit cynical ... and I apologize for that ... but it is necessary for me to say this ...

According to Wikipedia.org, in the United States there are:

• 303 million people

• 2.89 million millionaires

• 1.4 million charitable organizations

So, roughly speaking, this means for every 216 people in our country (remember, the elderly and children make up a major portion of this number) ... for every 2.1 millionaires ... there is an ORGANIZATION asking for free money.

Now, factor in all the INDIVIDUALS who are asking for free money ... and you can begin to get a sense of how UP-SIDE-DOWN we have become as a country of people. 

We have too many people standing around with their hands out and their minds focused on GETTING something for nothing ... and not enough people putting their minds and hands to work CREATING something of value that's a blessing and benefit to people.

Of course, EVERY SINGLE ONE of these "askers" can tell you a story about why you should give them money ... that YOU worked for and earned ... and a few of them are so rehearsed, practiced, and polished that they even sound legitimate and compelling.

I know this because people from all over the world contact me with their "story" and request for a money gift.  Every week I literally get asked for MILLIONS of dollars.  There was even one week when I took a few minutes to total the requests up...and found that people had asked me for over a BILLION dollars.

These people are very sincere in their request ... they want me to put in all the effort required to attract and obtain money ... they want me to take all the risks ... they want me to persist (alone) through all the lean times of hardship and failure (learning) ... they want me to make all the sacrifices ... they want me to rise above those bad circumstances that happen that are not my fault ... they want me to make wise and careful choices and decisions in my life ... so that I get the rewards of all that effort, learning, sacrifice, and persistence (money) ... and give it to them.

I guess in their view of the world, that is a perfectly sensible thing for me to do.  They certainly seem to think that it is the "Christian" thing for me to do.

Of course, I now just ignore all these requests ... because even if I was inclined to do so ... which I'm not ... there is no way I can process, verify, or validate them.  There is no way I can take care of my ministries, work, and business and have time to sort through and find out what's legitimate from what's not.

Here's the point of this ... God has ministries that He wants me involved in.  God has good works that He wants me engaged in.  And, it's MY responsibility to be able to fund these ministries and works.

The same is true for you too.  God has ministries that He wants you involved in.  God has good works that He wants you engaged in.  And, it's YOUR responsibility to be able to fund these ministries and works.

So, that's what Millionaires For Jesus is about ... becoming and being the kind of person who can self-support  the ministries and works that God has for you.

What Is "Millionaires for Jesus" REALLY All About?

At this point, you may be wondering, "Who is this Lane Fox guy and what is Millionaires for Jesus REALLY all about?"

Well, as it pertains to me, God continues to bless me more and more and to use me more and more expansively in His Kingdom.  For this I am deeply, deeply thankful.

And, no matter how high the level at which I'm able to support good works, there is always more good that can be done in the Kingdom of God than what I or any other one person can do.

And therefore, relative to good works in the Kingdom of God, there are more people needed who have moved beyond having just enough for themselves -- people who have moved beyond just barely getting by -- to the point they have more than enough so that God can use them on a greater scale.

In simple terms, God wants to bring more people into that league of Christian Millionaires so that more good works can be done...

And just maybe, you're one of those people.

As the Bible says, "the just shall walk by faith".  Becoming a Millionaire for Jesus is definitely a walk of faith.

I need you to really understand that.  Becoming a Millionaire for Jesus is a journey.  It's a process. 

It's NOT a get-rich-quick scheme.
